  1. Hello. What is the optimal version to use for a Pentium 4 (up to SSE3 support)? Is it the core2duo or the sse build? Also, does the sse build support SSE 3?

  2. @lookmeupunder404 You can use SSE version.

  3. Alright, thanks.

I would like to ask if the SSE build supports up to SSE3? Also, will the SSE build work with cards that support up to SSE only, or SSE2 only? (I am thinking of sharing this binary with other people and would like to know if the optimizations will work for all.)

Also, what is the optimal version to use for an Intel Atom 1.66 GHZ (1 core, 2 threads [Hyperthreading])?

I also would like to ask: is the Windows binary available at OptiPNG's website ( http://optipng.sourceforge.net/ ) not yet optimized for SSE?

  4. @lookmeupunder404 c2d build may work fine with Atom.

And the Windows binary available at OptiPNG's website are plain builds, no Intel compiler optimization and zlib enhancement.

  5. 0.7 is now out, can you do ICC builds for it?
